Purposes and legal basis of processing

The processing of your personal data in connection with the use of our website is carried out for the following purposes and on the basis of the following legal grounds:

1. Hosting

In the context of hosting, all data to be processed in connection with the operation of this website is stored. This is necessary to enable the operation of the website. Accordingly, we process the data on the basis of our legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. To provide our online presence, we use the services of a web hosting provider to whom we transmit the aforementioned personal data.

2. Cookies

We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your terminal device. We only use cookies that are technically necessary for the operation of this website. These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be deactivated in your systems.

Some of the cookies we use are deleted immediately after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your end device and make it possible to recognise your browser the next time you visit (persistent cookies).

You can delete all cookies stored on your end device and set the common browsers to prevent cookies from being stored. In this case, you may have to make some settings again each time you visit this website and accept that some functions may be impaired.

You can find out which functions we use cookies for in the overview at the end of this data protection information.

The processing of your personal data by means of technically necessary cookies is based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO.

3. Fonts Awesome

We use Fonts Awesome for the uniform display of fonts. We integrate the fonts locally. By integrating these fonts locally, no connection to third-party servers is established. Therefore, your personal data is neither processed nor transmitted to third parties.

4. Contacting us

If you contact us via the contact options provided on the website, we will process the personal data you provide in order to process your enquiry. This is basically your contact details as well as other information provided by you (e.g. the content of your enquiry).

We process this personal data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b) DSGVO, insofar as the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you (e.g. for the handling of questions regarding a contract). Otherwise, the processing is based on our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO to properly handle your request.

Storage period

We keep your (personal) data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and used, unless a longer period is necessary to comply with our legal obligations or to pursue a legal or financial claim.

Sharing of data / International data transfers

We share your personal data with a web hosting provider to the extent set out above.

We do not transfer your personal data to a third country outside the EU or EEA.

Origin of your personal data and obligation to provide personal data

We only process the personal data that you have provided to us. There is no legal or contractual obligation for you to provide us with personal data. However, if you do not provide us with the personal data that may be required for the initiation and processing of a business relationship, this may mean that you cannot use our services or other services in full or at all.

When you use the website, log data is automatically transmitted by your browser (see section III. 1).

We process this personal data in accordance with the provisions of the applicable data protection laws, in particular the DSGVO and the BDSG.

If you have given your consent to the processing of your personal data, you may revoke it at any time with future effect pursuant to Art. 7 (3) DSGVO.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Art. 77 DSGVO).

Insofar as we base the processing of your personal data on a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO, you may object to the processing. You will find further information on this below:

Special information about your right to object according to Art. 21 DSGVO:

Pursuant to Art. 21 DSGVO, you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(e) DSGVO (data processing in the public interest) and Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO (data processing on the basis of a balance of interests); this also applies to profiling based on this provision within the meaning of Art. 4 No. 4 DSGVO.

If you object, your personal data will no longer be processed unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

We may also process your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing. If you do not wish to receive advertising, you have the right to object to this at any time; this also applies to profiling, insofar as it is associated with such direct advertising. We will observe this objection for the future. We will then no longer process your data for these purposes.

The objection can be made without any formalities and should, if possible, be addressed to the office mentioned in point I.

In order to protect the security of your personal data during transmission to us, we use state-of-the-art encryption procedures (e.g. SSL or TLS encryption). You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
